What is your One Year Plan?
The other day me and the Girlfriend were laying in bed, and she looked at me and said “We need a one year plan.” The conversation quickly changed to something else, but I later laid in bed thinking the Girlfriend was right, We do Need a One Year Plan.
Stop what you’re doing right now and think about it. We are all working for a reason or for a purpose, but we often fail to ask what is that purpose. We all usually have some big idea or dream we are all going for, but how exactly we are hoping to achieve that dream is sometimes the hard part. Safe to say, we all need a one year plan.
So right now I’m asking you get a piece of paper and pen and scribble down some ideas for a one year plan. The farther out you get the vaguer the path will get, but the first few weeks and month should be set in stone. Plans are meant to change so don’t worry about your plans one year down the road if you later miss them, plans change and life happens, but have a plan in place.
Begin by thinking about the small things, if you want to have job X, write down the things that you need to do in order to get that job. What certifications does it need? What experience do you need? If you want to buy car A, take a look at the money now that you need to save each month in order to do it. Do you need to work two jobs or not? Anything is possible, when a plan is in place.
I’m a strong believe that anything is possible in this thing called life. So ask yourself, What is your One Year Plan and what can you do to make sure it’s successful.

I totally agree with you. If one doesn’t have a plan h/she is merely existing, settling for mediocrity, less than what they are actually capable of.
